Rogue Treasure from Chance Interactive is a 25-line slot available via NexGen integrations.
The game is highly reminiscent of Assassin’s Creed which is no bad thing.
The game’s eponymous Rogue is a Wild symbol and the game also features Wild Reels.
The base game is decent fun.
Re-spins with Wild Reels are awarded randomly.
When the re-spin feature triggers you’ll be rewarded with a fully wild reel 2.
A second re-trigger will keep reel 2 wild and also add reel 3, a third re-trigger will give you reels 2,3 and 4 as expanded wilds.
That can of course be pretty valuable.
Rogue Treasure Free Spins
3, 4 or 5 scatters (Treasure Chests) will trigger the free spins bonus round.
This awards unlimited free spins.
Once a treasure chest appears during the free spins bonus it will trigger the arrival of the Guards.
The Treasure Chest during free spins awards a multiplier rather than acting as a standard scatter.
Single and double guards are nothing to be concerned with – they don’t affect the game play at all.
If (or rather when) you land 3 or more Guards on the reels your free spins round is over.
It can really tilt you when the Guards appear – which is exactly what you want from a bonus round.
Prior to the Guards appearance you’ll be on the edge of your seat and the feeling of screaming for a 3rd scatter-style symbol not to appear is a welcome reversal to the norm.
We really enjoyed this game as you can see from our video.
This is a very nicely designed game, the engine is smooth and there are no annoying niggles.
Graphically it’s nicely done (down to smoke rising from a chimney in the background, I love those little touches) and the sounds match the game extremely well.
Game play rarely gets dull as the re-spin feature is pretty frequent.
The bonus game is really exciting thanks to the Guards mechanic.
We’ll definitely be coming back to this time after time.
